As some of you may be aware EKC are also using Social Media, namely Facebook, in addition to the main website for announcing Events. We have now created accounts on Twitter and Instagram to help spread awareness of the club and bring in new members. These should also help linking up with events, clubs and other motor interested
It was, just as the previous years, a glorious day at the EARM. Following a breakfast at D’s Diner those that met there drove onto EARM at Chappel and Wakes colne. George was already on site, Malcolm, Mike, Tim and Dave turned up to join the line-up. Later that day the line up actually increased
Today we attended the Hatfield Heath Festival, which has been a favourite amongst club members for the last few years. The festival is attended by around 250 vehicles and a well organised family fair. Other local establishments also provide activities to make this show a success. This was clearly one of the best attended breakfast meets we have had. Although I’d like to credit it to the new website, I think we just had the right balance of weather and perfect timing. Either way it was great to see 10 Kits turn up and almost 20 people to enjoy D’s breakfasts.
The Essex kitcar club attended the ‘Wings & Wheels’ Classic car and motor bike show + light aircraft fly in at Damyns Hall Aerodrome on Sunday 19th July 2015. The show was organised by the Havering arm of the charity MIND to raise funds. The drive down for a number of us was rather wet
